The OCHS conducts a written test followed by an interview in every new session which
is based on CBSE curriculum. Students are placed in the merit-list and admitted
as per existing vacancy in a particular class.
No specific syllabus for the selection test is prescribed although a student seeking
admission is expected to possess acceptable knowledge of general English, maths
and science subjects. After written test a short interview is also conducted by
the board of OCHS. The candidate is graded as per his/her performance and suitability
for a particular standard.
SESSION
The OCHS conducts three terms in an academic year :-
1st term - April to July
2nd term - August to November
3rd term - December to March
CURRICULUM AND EVALUATION
The OCHS conducts several cultural programmes for developing the arts skill. For
this it also provides specific teacher & specific class for several cultural activities
like dance, song, music mimicry, and drama/play & several outdoor & indoor games
and sports. The school follows the CBSE-NCERT syllabi substantially. Our curriculum
encourages both individual achievement and successful collaboration. Blending trading
traditional teaching with thoughtful innovation, it’s designed to appeal to a wide
range of interests mixing with activities intended to challenge and stimulate, our
students to learn to strive for excellence in academics, arts, sports & community
service.
